Position-Time Graphs

The Position-TIme Graphs Concept Builder is a concept-building tool that provides the learner with practice determining the distance, displacement, and velocity for an object whose motion is described by a position-time graph. There are three activities in the Concept Builder. The Know Your D's activity focuses on the determination of distance and displacement. The Know Your V activity focuses on the use of a slope calculation to determine the velocity of an object whose motion is described by a position-time graph. The Know Your D, V, P, and T activity involves more complex analysis of position-time graphs that involve coordinate reading, slope calculations, and extrapolation. Question-specific help is provided for each question. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
