Begin Activity
In this simulation, a cart will be pulled up an inclined plane at a constant speed. The force and displacement can be measured and used to calculate the work. The mass of the cart and the angle of the incline can be modified. The purpose of the activity is to determine the effect of the angle of incline upon the force required to pull the cart at a constant speed and upon the amount of work done on the cart.
Mass = 2.0 kg
Mass = 4.0 kg
You will be able to modify the mass of the cart and the angle of the incline. Click a button to select a cart mass.
