The forces on a projectile are ____.

 Define Help

Definition of a Projectile:
A projectile is an object for which the only force acting upon it is gravity. The force of air resistance is negligibly small or nonexistent for a projectile.

 Think About It

There is only one force on a projectile - the force of gravity. With no force present to balance gravity, a projectile is acted upon by an unbalanced force. This is the cause of its acceleration.
