Measurement and Numbers

The Measurement and Numbers Concept Builder is designed for the beginnings of a quantitative science course - like chemistry, physics, or even physical science. Topics include metric units of measurement (the first activity - Matching Pairs), the conversion between scientific and standard notation (the second activity - Scientific Notation), and making measurements to the proper number of significant digits (the third activity - Measurement). There are a total of 32 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 14 different Question Groups and spread across the three activities. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 14 Question Groups. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
