Pressure-Temperature Gas Law

The Pressure-Temperature Gas Law Concept Builder targets a learner's understanding of the relationship between pressure and Kelvin temperature for gases. There are a total of 25 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 10 different Question Groups and spread across the three difficulty activities. In the first activity - The Basic Relationship - learners must recognize the direct relationship between the pressure and the temperature of a gas and the various means of representing this relationship. In the second activity - Proportional Reasoning - learners inspect a given Data Set and predict the effect of the doubling, tripling, and quadrupling of the Kelvin temperature upon the pressure of a sample of gas. In the final activity - P-T Data - learners are given a Pressure-Temperature Data Set with several missing cell values and must use the pressure-temperature relationship to complete the table. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 10 Question Groups. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
