Fish Catch

The Fish Catch Interactive simulates the collision between a small fish and a large fish. The large fish is initially at rest and the small fish is initially moving. The relative masses of the two fish can be modified. Each collision is accompanied by an analysis that displays the pre-collision and post-collision velocity and momentum of the two fish and the combination of two fish.

Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and explore. For a more guided experience, The Physics Classroom has prepared an activity for use with this Interactive and encourages teachers to use it with their classes.
