Its All Uphill Concept Checker
Like all our Concept Checkers, it is designed to be used as a follow-up to the use of the It's All Uphill Simulation. We recommend the use of our classroom-ready exercise with the simulation. The questions in this Concept Checker were inspired by the questions on that activity.
The Concept Checker targets student understanding of the following learning outcomes:
- The student should be to calculate the amount of work done upon an object from knowledge of the force and the displacement.
- The student should be able to idenitfy the effect that variations in incline angle have upon the amount of force needed and work done when moving a cart up the incline at a constant speed to the same height.
