Stoichiometry Law Breakers

The Stoichiometry Law Breakers Concept Builder targets the use of the factor-label method to convert from a given quantity to another quantity in a stoichiometry problem. Students are given a balanced chemical equation, the amount of a reactant, and the unknown (usually the amount of a product). They must identify correct and incorrect sets of conversion factors for solving the problem. There are a total of 48 questions organized into 12 Question Groups and spread across three difficulty levels. The Apprentice Difficulty Level involves mole-to-mole conversions. The Master Difficulty Level involves mole-to-mole-to-gram conversions. The Wizard Difficulty Level involves gram-to-mole-to-mole-to-gram conversions.

Feedback is immediate and students will be given multiple opportunties to correct mistakes. Help is provided for each difficulty level. Built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity (for Task Tracker users only).
