The L•O•S•T Art of Image Description (Converging Lenses)
The L•O•S•T Art of Image Description (Converging Lenses) Concept Builder presents learners with the challenge of relating the characteristics of the image formed by a converging lens to the position of the object along the principal axis of the lens. Learners make decisions about the general Location, the Orientation (upright or inverted), the relative Size (smaller, larger, or the same size as the object), and the image Type (real or virtual). There are four Question Groups - each of which involves a distinctly different location along the principal axis. Question-specific help is provided for each of the questions. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder.
