Rocket Sledder
The Rocket Sled Interactive simulates the motion of a horizontally-moving rocket sled. Learners can modify the propulsion force, the resistance forces (friction and air resistance), and the mass of the rocket sled. The net force and velocity of the sled are displayed.
Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and explore. For a more guided experience, The Physics Classroom has prepared an activity for use with this Interactive and encourages teachers to use it with their classes.
