Phase Changes Concept Checker
Like all our Concept Checkers, it is designed to be used as a follow-up to the use of the Phase Changes simulation.
The Concept Checker targets student understanding of the following learning outcome:
- The student should be able to describe the effect that the addition of heat has upon a sample of water; such descriptions should relate the particle behavior and characteristics to the macroscopic observations associated with the three phases and the two phase transitions.
