Two Dimensional Motion Simulator
The Two-Dimensional Motion Simulator allows a learner to study the motion of an object in two dimensions. The interface allows one to manipulate motion parameters (position, velocity, and acceleration) for both the x- and the y-dimensions. The effect or non-effect of a paramenter upon the motion in a particular direction can be explored. A second object can be placed in the animation space and the same set of parameters can be manipulated. Once a learner has gained confidence in how these three parameters are related, it's time to try the Challenges. Start with the easy levels and continue to progress through the moderate to the difficult challenge levels.
Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Interactive.
