Mission TM3 Counting Atoms

Mission TM3 requires that students understand how to use molar mass and Avogadro's number to form conversion factors and to set up a factor label solution to a conversion involving atoms, moles, and grams. The mission consists of 32 questions organized into 8 Question Groups.

Learning Outcomes

  • The student should be able to use Avogadro's number as a conversion factor for converting between moles and atoms.
  • The student should be able to use the factor label method, molar mass, and Avogadro's number for converting between atoms, moles, and grams for an element.
