Sound Spectrum Viewer
The Sound Spectrum Viewer Interactive was designed as an accompaniment to our Data Transmission Interactive. Sound Spectrum Viewer is a tool that can be used to analyze the spectrum of a signal sent by the Data Transmission app. And of course, it can be used to capture the sound spectrum from any source. The Interactive will graphically display information about the frequencies (and their amplitudes) over the course of time. The tool also is capable of displaying a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) of the collected sound, making it a useful tool for analyzing the harmonics of musical instruments.
Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Interactive.
Learners and Instructors may also be interested in viewing the accompanying Notes page. Technical information, teaching suggestions, and related resources that complement this Interactive are provided on the Notes page. View Notes.
