Case Studies: Impulse and Force
The Case Studies: Impulse and Force Concept Builder is designed to help students gain comfort with the use of the impulse-momentum change theorem. The main outcomes is an understanding of how to use the theorem to analyze a collision to identify how the variables mass, time and velocity change affect the force experienced by an object. There are two difficulty levels in the Concept Builder - Master and Wizard. Question-specific help is provided for each question.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder.
