Keeping Track of Momentum - Hit and Bounce Collisions
The Keeping Track of Momentum (Hit and Bounce Collisions) Concept Builder is designed to help students understand the momentum conservation principle as it applies to collisions between two objects in which the objects collide, bounce apart, and travel with different speeds after the collision. The main task on most questions involves the completion of a momentum table for such a hit-and-bounce collision. There are three difficulty levels in the Concept Builder - Apprentice, Master, and Wizard. Question-specific help is provided for each question.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder.
