Measuring the Quantity of Heat - Directions
Using the Measuring the Quantity of Heat Concept Builder is quite simple. There are three difficulty levels, each of which involves the same type of task - providing a numerical answer to complete a sentence or a table. Numerical values can be entered into the blanks of a sentence or a blank cell of a table by tapping on the colored rectangle. A number pad will pop up on the right margin of the Concept Builder. Tap on the buttons of the number pad to enter your answer. When you're done enering your answer, you can tap on the Close Pad button or the Enter button to close the number pad. Alternatively, you can tap on a different blank cell and enter the answer for that blank. At any time that you wish to check your entered answers, tap on the Check Answer button. Your entered answers will be evaluated and your progress will be updated. A color-coded system is used to indicate your progress. Correct answers will be displayed on a green-colored cell. Incorrect answers will be displayed on a pink-colored cell. Grey cells indicate an answer that has not yet been checked or is simply blank. A yellow-colored cell is an answer that is in the process of being entered but not yet checked. Once all your answers have been correctly entered, you will be rewarded the Trophy for that difficulty level. (For Guest users, you will simply be returned to the Main Menu.)
If you are satisfied with your answers, tap on the Check Answer button. Your answers will be evaluated and your Progress Report will be updated.
