Thermal Stoichiometry
The Thermal Stoichiometry Concept Builder targets student ability to use a thermochemical equation to relate the mass, number of moles, and amount of heat released in a combustion reaction. The activity is comprised of 16 multi-part, numerical questions spread across three difficulty levels. Students will receive one question for each difficulty level. Questions involve either the completion of a sentence (Apprentice Level) or the completion of a table (Master and Wizard Levels). Question-specific help is provided for each of the 16 situations. The built-in feedback and score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for student practice or a classroom activity. And the use of the activity with our Task Tracker program allows teachers to view records of student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder.
