Fnet = m•a - Directions
Using the Fnet = m•a Concept Builder is quite simple. You will be presented with information regarding an object's mass and a target acceleration (both magnitude and direction). You will have to set north, south, east, and west force values to the proper magnitude in order to provide the object of known mass the intended acceleration. You can set the values of the four directional forces by dragging the arrow tips on the diagram. As you drag the arrow tip, the magnitude of the force updates. Let up on the arrow tip once you are satisfied with the force value. Once you are satisfied with your answer, tap on the Check Answer button. The object's motion will then be animated based on the force values that you have set; your answer will be evaluated and your Progress Report will be updated.
Your goal is to earn "Stars" and to complete one or more levels of difficulty. Stars are earned when you show success on a particular question. Once you show success on all the questions at a particular difficulty level, you will earn the reward for that level.
