Mission AB3 Bronsted-Lowry Model of Acids and Bases

Mission AB3 pertains to Bronsted-Lowry model of acids and bases. Students must have some fluency with the proton transfer behavior of acids and bases in aqueous solutions. The mission consists of 40 questions organized into 10 Question Groups.

Learning Outcomes

  • The student should be able to state the Bronsted-Lowry definition of an acid and a base.
  • The student should be able to use the Bronsted-Lowry Model to predict the products when a given acid (or base) dissolves in water.
